Synopsis

With fifty days left until the Seishou Festival, the girls undergo fittings for their stage outfits. Futaba Isurugi, comparing her height to Mahiru Tsuyuzaki and Nana Daiba, quietly longs for a few extra centimeters, thinking it might open up different parts for her; Hikari Kagura, noticing Futaba’s unease, recalls the tale of a petite stage performer who nonetheless achieved brilliance. Elsewhere, Junna Hoshimi arrives amid a heated discussion between Hikari and Maya Tendou over how to interpret the lead role of Claire in the play Starlight; though their approaches differ, the three acknowledge a shared desire to stand in the spotlight. On opening day, Hikari finds herself unexpectedly anxious; anticipating this possibility, the other girls rally to finalize her preparations, while Karen Aijou goes to great lengths to present Hikari with a surprising gift.
