Synopsis

Arata Kaizaki, at twenty-seven, undergoes an experimental program that returns him to high school life and alters his outlook in ways he had long abandoned as an adult. Through this experience he reconnects with youthful viewpoints, makes friends, and builds meaningful relationships. His program supervisor, Ryou Yoake, cautions that the arrangement is temporary and that when the experiment concludes, those ties will be erased from others' memories. Meanwhile another participant, Chizuru Hishiro, after two years in the same program, has grown into a more expressive and considerate person than she expected, shaped by the people she encountered and the experiences she lived. As both participants approach the end of their respective trials, they face the challenge of whether they can accept the impending loss of the shared memories they created and the changes those memories brought to their lives.
