Synopsis

Puberty Syndrome is a scarcely understood condition affecting teenagers with uncanny, often invisible symptoms dismissed as folklore. Sakuta Azusagawa, a high school student who has endured the disorder himself, recognizes its reality and encounters multiple peers suffering from it. Among them is Mai Sakurajima, a third-year who once worked as a child actress and recently stepped away from her career for undisclosed reasons. Known for her aloof presence at school, Mai is found by Sakuta wandering the library in a bunny costume that goes unnoticed by others. As Sakuta intervenes to assist Mai, his involvement draws him into the lives of other girls experiencing the perplexing manifestations of Puberty Syndrome, forcing him to confront the emotional and supernatural challenges the condition brings.
