Synopsis

On Mai Sakurajima's graduation day, Sakuta Azusagawa waits for her at the beach and unexpectedly encounters a younger incarnation of Mai from her child acting years. When the real Mai arrives, the younger version vanishes, leaving Sakuta unsettled. Back at home he discovers an unfamiliar scar, confirming that another case of Puberty Syndrome has affected him. Shortly afterward, Sakuta and his sister Kaede receive a call from their father: their mother, recently released from the hospital, wishes to see her daughter again. While visiting their mother, Sakuta and Kaede experience unusual phenomena tied to the syndrome. Sakuta must investigate and resolve these anomalies to understand and end the new Puberty Syndrome occurrences.
