Peace at the Tendo home is disrupted when a young Chinese woman named Lychee turns up, intent on avenging a vow Happosai allegedly broke before she was born. The situation escalates as Kirin and the Seven Lucky Gods arrive and take Akane away with plans to make her Kirin's bride. Ranma and his companions set out for Nekonron, China to prevent Akane from being forced into marriage and to resolve the conflict surrounding Lychee's claim.
