Twelve years after the last OVA and the manga's conclusion, a fresh Ranma ½ animation was created for the 'It's a Rumic World' exhibition showcasing Rumiko Takahashi's art. This half-hour special adapts the 'Nightmare! Incense of Spring Sleep' chapter from volume 34 of the manga. The short film was presented at the Tokyo exhibition on odd-numbered days between July 30 and August 11.
