Synopsis

Akeane is struck by a sudden recollection of a childhood visit to Ryugenzawa, where a young Shinnosuke once rescued her from a threatening giant platypus. Compelled to revisit that place, she encounters Shinnosuke again; his feelings for her grow apparent. After Shinnosuke suffers severe injuries that Akane holds herself responsible for, she chooses to remain in Ryugenzawa to assist with his recovery. Ranma, upset by her decision and convinced that Akane's affections have shifted toward Shinnosuke, resolves to take action to bring her back.
