Synopsis

As the Qin State looms, the Han State—regarded as the weakest among the Seven States—faces internal peril concealed from its emperor. The danger originates with Ji Wuye, the Han Great General, whose influence hides a deeper threat. Supporting a bid to remake Han, the ninth prince Han Fei establishes an organization called Quicksand and is aided by four expert collaborators known as the Four Fearful Warriors of Nightfall. Each member brings a distinct specialty—military command, financial control, political maneuvering, and espionage—which they use to back the prince’s vision while becoming entangled in a broader struggle for power referred to as the “world.”
