Synopsis

After surviving a bus hijacking with help from a masked hero, Yuuta Iridatsu finds his soul detached from his body and placed under the care of a perverse feline spirit named Chiranosuke. As an incorporeal observer within Korai House, Yuuta seeks a way to reclaim his body while learning about the household's other occupants: Meika Daihatsu, an inventive prodigy; Mikatan Narugino, an upbeat idol; Ito Hikiotani, a reclusive NEET; and Rabura Chichibu, a medium attuned to the supernatural. When Yuuta glimpses Narugino’s undergarments, Chiranosuke reveals that exposure to panties sharply amplifies Yuuta’s abilities—but a second such incident while he remains disembodied would trigger a cataclysmic asteroid strike that could annihilate the planet and everyone he cares about. Punch Line follows Yuuta’s efforts to uncover the truths surrounding Korai House, protect its residents, and confront an organization bent on global destruction, all while avoiding the disastrous consequence tied to his newfound power.
