Synopsis

Dark forces tied to the Dead Moon Circus continue to threaten Usagi Tsukino and the Sailor Guardians, driving the planet deeper into a nightmare-ridden gloom. After a total solar eclipse, young Hotaru Tomoe undergoes alarming rapid aging, prompting the Outer Sailor Guardians to sense a grave imbalance. Convinced their royal charges are at risk, the four Outer Guardians reclaim their abilities to rejoin and support the rest of the team. Meanwhile, the eclipse undermines Usagi and Mamoru Chiba, causing their strength and magical effectiveness to wane; without their leader in full force, the remaining Guardians struggle to find a path forward. Frustrated by the stalemate, Hotaru and Chibiusa take matters into their own hands and confront the Amazoness Quartet, who have been largely responsible for the escalating chaos. As Queen Nehelenia nears liberation, the Guardians face dwindling time to prevent her return and avert further darkness.
