This short film, linked to the Pokémon XY series and presented in two Tokyo planetariums on 360-degree domes, follows Satoshi and his companions during a visit to the Pokémon Aerospace eXploration Agency, an homage to Japan's real space agency. While PAXA astronauts recount the marvels of space and speculate about Pokémon surviving beyond Earth, alarms suddenly sound as Team Rocket's scheme to take over the facility becomes apparent. At the same time, a satellite control malfunction reveals that large fragments of orbital debris have collided, raising the threat of further destructive debris. The piece combines the wonder of space exploration with an urgent technical crisis and an antagonist intrusion, all framed for immersive dome projection.
