Synopsis

Satoshi and his friends become disoriented in an unfamiliar barren landscape. Their journey leads them to a "Water Pokémon Show" featuring Hiromi, the lead performer of the Mariner Troupe. Hiromi, a descendant of the Water People, possesses the ability to communicate with Water Pokémon. She shares an ancient legend passed down through her lineage: an underwater sanctuary known as "The Water Temple Akuusha" houses a fabled artifact called "The Water Crown," a treasure no one has ever witnessed. The situation changes with the arrival of Jack Walker, a Pokémon Ranger known as Jackie, who is pursuing this very treasure. Jackie is engaged in a highly classified assignment: safeguarding the egg of Manaphy, the revered "Prince of the Sea" and leader of the Water Pokémon. This precious egg must be transported to The Water Temple Akuusha. Satoshi, his companions, and Hiromi agree to assist Jackie in his crucial endeavor. Their path is soon obstructed by Phantom, a pirate who launches attacks from his advanced submarine. Phantom intends to harness the power of the Water Crown for global domination, but first, he must unravel the enigma surrounding Manaphy's egg. As Team Rocket also intervenes, Jackie employs his Capture Styler to temporarily utilize the abilities of nearby Pokémon to counter their interference. Satoshi and Pikachu engage in the conflict, confronting Phantom's formidable high-tech mecha. Amidst the chaos, the egg begins to emit a brilliant glow, and Manaphy emerges. The quest to reach The Water Temple Akuusha has commenced, leaving the mysteries of the legendary treasure and Manaphy's inherent powers yet to be uncovered.
