Synopsis

Alain, once an aide to Professor Platane of Lumiose City, pursues greater power alongside his Charizard by learning to harness mega evolution. Commissioned by the mysterious Fleur-de-lis, he explores Kalos and Hoenn to locate trainers skilled in mega evolution, both to advance his own abilities and to assist Fleur-de-lis’s research. During this quest he encounters a girl named Manon and her Chespin, who choose to join him; Alain accepts their company with some hesitation. The narrative follows Alain and Charizard as they strive to become top practitioners of mega evolution while confronting legendary threats that endanger Fleur-de-lis’s goals and the safety of those important to them.
