Synopsis

Long ago, Arceus diverted a meteor that threatened Earth, but the effort scattered the sixteen Plates that sustained it and left the deity weakened. Damon found one Plate and restored Arceus briefly; in gratitude the being forged the Jewel of Life and entrusted it to Michina Town with the expectation it would be returned. The townspeople refused, conflict broke out, Damon died, and Arceus entered a deep sleep, vowing retribution when it rose again. Years later, Satoshi and his friends arrive in Michina Town and meet Sheena, a descendant of Damon who holds the Jewel and plans to restore it to Arceus upon awakening. Despite her intention, Arceus remains unconsoled; its growing anger warps reality, provokes the Legendary trio—Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina—and threatens to unbalance the world. Satoshi must act to prevent the destruction Arceus’ fury could bring and to protect humanity from the cosmic distortions unfolding around them.
