Synopsis

At the close of autumn, Chidori Yoshino of Strega abducts Junpei Iori while Makoto Yuki and the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad eliminate the Hanged Man Arcana. Shortly afterward, a charismatic transfer student, Ryouji Mochizuki, joins Gekkoukan High School's Class 2-F. SEES initially believes the conflict that cost them loved ones has ended, but Tartarus and the Dark Hour persist despite the defeat of the twelfth Shadow. Confronted with that harsh reality, the squad wrestles with grief, personal challenges, and questions about whom and what they are fighting for. As Makoto and Junpei grapple with their own self-discovery, Ryouji's true nature and the source of Aegis's hostility toward him come to light.
