Synopsis

Persia, an eleven-year-old who has lived among animals on the Serengeti, is brought to Japan by twins Riki and Gaku Muroi and their grandfather Gouken. In Japan she will live with a couple who run a grocery store and whom she calls Mama and Papa. During the flight to Japan, Persia enters the Lovely Dream and meets its Fairy Queen, who reveals the realm is frozen and asks for Persia’s assistance. The queen bestows a magical headband that can summon a baton and lets Persia transform into a teenage form, linking her to the Lovely Dream and enabling her to use magic. Sent back to the ordinary world accompanied by three kappa, Persia’s mission is to gather love energy to thaw the Lovely Dream. Failure to collect the needed energy, or being discovered while using magic, carries the consequence that Riki and Gaku will be turned into women.
