Synopsis

Three years following the resolution of the Babylon Project affair, members of Kiichi Gotou's Patlabor squad have dispersed into separate lives. Gotou continues his service with the Patlabor unit, partnered with Shinobu Nagumo, who is both his comrade and the object of his affection. A clandestine group embedded in the armed forces exploits public distrust of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force to ignite attacks and widespread turmoil across the country. Nagumo discovers that the architect of the unfolding conspiracy is Yukihito Tsuge, a man who was once her teacher and romantic partner. To halt the escalating threat, Gotou brings the old Patlabor team back together, led by pilot Noa Izumi, and undertakes an operation to apprehend Tsuge. Nagumo must reconcile her tangled personal history as the team works to prevent further violence and restore stability to Japan.
