Synopsis
An abrupt invasion brings brain-penetrating alien parasites to Earth; they commandeer human hosts and shift into lethal forms to consume victims. Sixteen-year-old Shinichi Izumi is targeted, but the parasite cannot reach his brain and becomes embedded in his right hand instead. Unable to move to a new host, the creature—later called Migi—depends on Shinichi to survive. The two must adapt to coexistence while defending themselves against hostile parasites determined to eliminate this anomalous pairing.
