Synopsis

Shinichi Kanou, a recluse deeply versed in anime, manga, and gaming, seeks a way out of his isolated life by applying for a job. Instead, he is abducted and transported to the Eldant Empire, a fantastical land inhabited by elves, dragons, and dwarves. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, Shinichi receives an unusual assignment from the Japanese authorities: serve as an emissary to disseminate otaku culture across the empire. Backed officially by his homeland and aided locally by the half-elf maid Myucel and Princess Petralka, Shinichi must navigate the empire’s political intrigues, class divisions, and ethnic prejudices to introduce and normalize otaku customs and interests in this sacred realm.
