Synopsis
Haruhi Fujioka, a diligent scholarship student at the elite Ouran Academy, seeks a quiet place to study and finds an apparently unused music room. There she meets the flamboyant members of the Host Club, a popular group of attractive male students who entertain girls from across the school. When Tamaki Suou, the club’s charismatic founder and president, startles Haruhi, she accidentally smashes an expensive vase. Unable to cover the cost, Haruhi is offered an alternative: work for the Host Club and take on duties as one of their hosts. Misidentified as a boy by the other members and their guests, Haruhi must fulfill hostess responsibilities while adjusting to the club’s dramatic personalities and the social dynamics of life at Ouran Academy.
