Synopsis

In a vast, composite desert landscape, a lizard named Oscar faces a perpetual quest for nourishment and hydration. This arid environment, featuring elements reminiscent of various real-world deserts, is traversed by an asphalt highway occasionally used by cargo vehicles. Oscar frequently encounters liquids in various containers but consistently struggles to access them for consumption. The sole source of fresh water, an oasis, remains unattainable due to its dense population of aggressive and hungry crocodiles. Despite significant personal risk, as lizards are a food source for chickens, Oscar sometimes manages to procure an egg from a nearby hen coop. He also explores the numerous refuse heaps scattered across the parched terrain. A fennec fox named Popy, a vulture named Buck, and a hyena named Harchi reside in a dilapidated school bus on an adjacent hill. This trio often travels in a repurposed warehouse or grocery cart, propelled by Harchi and steered by Popy. Like Oscar, this group is constantly searching for food and water. Their interactions with Oscar vary; they often compete with him, sometimes exploit him for their own ends, but occasionally collaborate when it serves their mutual interests. A recurring element involves characters plummeting from cliffs, reminiscent of classic cartoon physics, where gravity's effects are momentarily delayed until the character acknowledges their impending fall.
