Synopsis

While attempting to reach the formidable ocean route known as the Grand Line, the Straw Hat Pirates face a severe shortage of provisions. Seeking food independently, Luffy discovers and commandeers a ship owned by a pirate named Gally, then arrives at a town close by. There he is confronted by a young woman, Silk, who mistakes him for a member of a rival pirate crew and attacks. Sharing a meal together, Luffy and Silk exchange the stories that led them to that moment. Back on the waters, Gally and his companions, enraged by the loss of their vessel, turn their fury toward the town and threaten its unprotected residents by demanding compensation.
