Synopsis

Junpei Kousaka, a second-year high school student who suffers from a cat allergy and resents felines, is constantly surrounded by people who adore them: his family, a distant childhood friend, and his romantic interest Kaede Mizuno. One afternoon, a failed attempt to toss a can into a bin results in the can striking and detaching the head of a feline deity's statue. As a consequence, Junpei becomes able to comprehend what cats say. He must conceal this condition, because revealing it causes others to become unusually accident-prone and subject to the same misfortune. Guided by his cat companion Nyamsus and facing no alternative, Junpei is compelled to complete one hundred benevolent acts for cats to undo the curse. Failure to finish the task means he will transform into a cat—an outcome that, given his severe allergy, would be catastrophic.
