Synopsis

Although the nature of Shinichi Chiaki's connection with the unconventional pianist Megumi "Nodame" Noda remains unclear, many interpret it as romantic, a view Nodame herself openly embraces through repeated declarations of affection. After a trivial dispute over soy sauce, Nodame impulsively agrees to go out with Lucas Beaudry, a young piano talent from France. This decision triggers an unfamiliar emotion in Chiaki—the pang of jealousy—marking a first for the celebrated conductor and complicating their already ambiguous relationship.
