Synopsis

Remi, raised in the French countryside by his mother, sees his life upended when his distant father returns and, driven by financial need, discloses that Remi was adopted and then sells him. Separated from the home he knew, Remi becomes part of the entourage of Vitalis, a wandering musician, and the troupe of trained animals who travel with him. As they move from place to place across the country, Remi and the company pursue the search for his biological parents while confronting difficult realities and learning painful lessons. The story follows Remi’s emotional journey through loss, the formation of new bonds, and the ongoing quest for belonging and contentment.
