Synopsis

In Disboard, a realm governed by the One True God Tet, sixteen sentient races coexist; humans, called Imanity, occupy the lowest position and lack magical talent. The world's conflicts and decisions are resolved through contests and games, leaving humanity trapped without apparent advantage. Sora and Shiro, stepsiblings and recluse prodigies from Earth who excel in online gaming under the alias "Blank," treat life as another pastime. After answering a cryptic message, the two are transported to Disboard by Tet, who explains the immutable rules of that world before departing. Seeking information and shelter, Sora and Shiro reach Elkia, the sole surviving human kingdom, where they meet Stephanie Dola, an emotionally driven girl striving to restore her family’s rule. Observing her dedication and flawed attempts to reclaim the throne, the siblings choose to assist Stephanie, aiming to stabilize Elkia and ultimately position themselves to govern within Disboard’s unusual system.
