A blind itinerant musician teaches him the instrument’s fundamentals, and through practice and the support of companions both old and new, Nitaroh follows a path that culminates in his role as the originator of the Tsugaru shamisen tradition. The story traces his development, relationships, and dedication as he masters the distinctive style without revealing pivotal outcomes.
