Synopsis

A girl named Nanako suddenly develops otherworldly abilities at the same moment her personal history vanishes. Present during that turning point is Marlow, a driven teenage prodigy with scientific skill and lofty goals. He persuades Nanako to become part of the detective agency he runs by offering assistance in recovering what she has forgotten. Nanako accepts his offer with trust, unaware that Marlow plans to exploit her talents for the agency’s and his own advantage. Together they confront a succession of hazardous assignments and unexplained occurrences. Despite the threats they meet, Nanako’s bright, trusting nature carries her as she works through each mystery while continuing to search for her past.
