Synopsis

Takeo Gouda is an unusually tall, well-built high school freshman whose intimidating exterior masks a kind, selfless nature. Admired by his male classmates for his bravery and willingness to help others, he nonetheless finds romantic pursuits complicated by his looks. His closest friend, the effortlessly attractive Makoto Sunakawa, unintentionally attracts the attention of many girls, including those Takeo hopes to win. After Takeo intervenes to protect Rinko Yamato from harassment, he develops strong feelings for her but worries she may be drawn to Sunakawa. While his affection for Rinko deepens, Takeo chooses to support her happiness and acts to bring her closer to the person she seems to favor, even as he quietly hopes for his own chance at love.
