In a society of Quirk users, Kouichi Haimawari is a university student whose sliding ability limits him to modest speed, making his ambition to be a hero difficult to realize. Unable to progress through official channels, he turns to informal, extra-legal jobs that address problems beyond the reach of police and licensed heroes. An encounter with two unlikely partners—a rough, hand-to-hand vigilante known as Knuckleduster and a popular online performer called Pop☆Step—creates an opening for the kind of action Kouichi has long wanted. When a hazardous substance emerges that amplifies Quirks and transforms ordinary people into dangerous offenders, Kouichi teams up with the others to prevent the drug’s spread. Together, the trio pursues the source of the threat and works to stop wrongdoing that the established system overlooks, navigating moral gray areas while confronting escalating dangers.
