Synopsis

In a world where supernatural abilities known as quirks have become widespread, a significant portion of the population wields diverse powers while a minority remain without them. Izuku Midoriya belongs to that powerless group yet nurtures a deep aspiration to become a hero. Despite lacking a quirk, he studies and admires professional heroes, documenting their traits and tactics. His dedication leads to an encounter with his greatest inspiration, the top-ranked hero All Might, who possesses an inheritable ability and selects Izuku as the next bearer. After undergoing intensive preparation, Izuku gains admission to UA High, an elite institution dedicated to cultivating heroes. Surrounded by unusual but capable peers and under the shadow of an emerging villain organization, he confronts rigorous training and real threats that will teach him the true responsibilities of heroism.
