Synopsis

Wakana Gojou, encouraged by Marin Kitagawa's introduction to cosplay, continues to design and sew her costumes, developing greater confidence in his craft. Each project deepens his appreciation for tailoring and recalls the traditional hina dolls his grandfather showed him. At the same time, Marin becomes increasingly unable to conceal her affection toward Wakana. Their interactions prompt frequent assumptions from peers and passersby that they are a couple, causing Wakana to feel self-conscious since he perceives their lifestyles as quite separate. Over time, his repeated encounters with Marin help him accept that his interests are not subject to ridicule, and the idea of a closer bond between them grows more plausible.
