Synopsis

A reserved high school student, devoted to the traditional craft of hina doll tailoring and aiming to match his grandfather’s skill, keeps his needlework concealed from classmates to avoid ridicule. Most of his peers pursue contemporary pastimes, but he finds satisfaction in creating miniature garments. His routine is disrupted when a confident, popular classmate notices his aptitude with a sewing machine and reveals her own interest in dressing as characters from media. Lacking the technical ability to realize her ideas, she asks him to assist with costume construction. Collaborating on successive cosplay pieces, the two gradually develop a closer relationship despite coming from very different social circles.
