Synopsis

Rudeus Greyrat experiences intense joy after his relationship with Eris Boreas Greyrat deepens, but that happiness is abruptly cut short when Eris departs to pursue her own path. Convinced she no longer cares, Rudeus becomes despondent and travels to the Northern Territories. Consumed by thoughts of his lost relationship, he drifts through days in a detached routine, his sole aim reduced to finding his mother somewhere on the sprawling continent. Danger in the North exposes the unsustainability of such numbness. During a mission with the recently met party Counter Arrow, Rudeus narrowly escapes death, an event that jolts him out of his depression.
