Synopsis

Following a sudden coup led by court scientist Dr. Akamashi that leaves the king dead, Princess Alita Castilia Arago Forland escapes the capital and retreats into the forest. During her desperate flight she collides with Falis, a harsh and volatile bounty hunter, and an unexpected magical effect causes them to exchange bodies. With her own body taken as collateral, Alita persuades Falis and her companions, Dominikov and Pete, to assist in a scheme to retake the capital by having Falis impersonate the princess. The ruse achieves initial success, but Falis’s inclination toward force rather than negotiation threatens the court’s stability. Alita must navigate palace politics and rein in Falis’s brutal methods to prevent replacing one crisis with another, while both women search for a way to restore their original forms.
