Synopsis

Set in Universal Century 0079 during the One Year War, combatants from the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon clash within the Thunderbolt Sector, a region notorious for continuous electrical storms that turn it into a treacherous battleground. Federation pilot Io Fleming spearheads assaults against Zeon ace Daryl Lorenz and his specialized sniper team as both sides maneuver through the ruins of destroyed colonies, employing skill and tactics rather than yielding ground. When Io gains control of an experimental Gundam, Daryl confronts a dire choice: undertake a costly action to amplify his unit’s power enough to defeat this new threat and protect his fellow soldiers, or risk his comrades being overwhelmed by a single, decisive adversary.
