Synopsis

In Universal Century 0079, after a decisive Earth Federation offensive scatters the Principality of Zeon, Federation forces press their advantage by deploying ground units worldwide to pursue remaining enemy contingents. Ensign Shiro Amada is sent to Southeast Asia to command the 08th MS Team, a unit equipped with RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Types. Assigned to a diversionary guerrilla mission to allow Federation troops to locate a newly observed Zeon armament, Shiro's operation proceeds until he unexpectedly meets Aina Sahalin, a skilled Zeon pilot he previously encountered. Their unexpected reunion shakes Shiro's commitment to the conflict, forcing the young commander to confront doubts about his duty and risk being seen as disloyal to the Federation.
