Synopsis

In a sun-baked South American setting, repeat escapee Michiko Malandro breaks out of a high-security prison to search for a man linked to her past. Her path intersects with Hana Morenos, a young girl suffering abuse from her foster household and clinging to a dream of being rescued. Michiko intervenes dramatically, arriving on a stolen motorcycle and claiming the role of Hana’s mother. Together they journey through the luminous but harsh terrain of Diamandra, confronting poverty, betrayal, and child exploitation concealed within the region. Their search for the man draws attention from the criminal syndicate Monstro Preto, escalating tensions into gang conflict. The narrative follows a cast of vivid characters, their competing motives, and the unexpected bonds formed as they pursue one elusive figure.
