Synopsis

Hikaru Amatsuga's tranquil existence is disrupted following his rescue of Alma, a mechanical arm that communicates distress. Alma subsequently merges with his attire, initiating Hikaru into a clandestine realm of sentient mechanical armaments, which typically integrate directly with their users. Forced to evade pursuit, Hikaru is eventually apprehended by Aki Murasame, a wielder of twin mechanical arms affiliated with ARMS. This organization is dedicated to safeguarding these advanced machines from unethical practices. The nefarious Kagami Group, which views mechanical arms as mere instruments, actively seeks to reclaim Alma. Initially, ARMS deems Hikaru unsuitable due to his apparent lack of innate aptitude for wielding such devices, leading to Aki's assignment as his protector. However, Aki is overcome by Jun Kagami, who brutally severs her mechanical limbs, leaving her in critical condition. Witnessing Aki's dire predicament, Hikaru's latent abilities unexpectedly awaken, allowing him to neutralize Kagami. Now fully integrated into ARMS, Hikaru commits himself to uncovering the mysteries surrounding mechanical arms and safeguarding his newfound companions.
