Synopsis

In the Great Yan Empire, standing depends on martial merit and the four preeminent clans dominate society. A past conflict led to the expulsion of a branch of the Lin Clan; one survivor established a separate household seeking future restoration. Lin Dong, born into that ostracized family, witnessed his gifted father’s destruction at the hands of Lin Langtian of the main Lin line. The defeat left his father broken, his grandfather anguished, and the household diminished. Motivated by a resolve to avenge the losses and reclaim honor, Lin Dong grows up focused on confronting the figure responsible for his family’s ruin.
