Synopsis

Kanako Miyamae, determined to find genuine romance, enrolls at Ame no Kisaki, a Catholic school where her parents once fell in love. She chooses the institution because she cannot tolerate men—contact with them causes her physical distress—so she intends to pursue a same-sex partner. Kanako becomes entranced by the elegant Mariya Shidou and believes she has discovered her ideal match. However, Mariya is not what Kanako expects: he is a boy who presents as female. Mariya leverages this knowledge to force Kanako into secrecy about his true sex and displaces her previous roommate to ensure close oversight. The story follows Kanako’s search for love amid the complications, confusions, and tensions that arise while living under Mariya’s watchful presence.
