Synopsis

When Natsumi Mizuki, a fourth-grade girl, is left alone after her parents depart for London, her aunt Izumi moves in. Izumi is focused on launching her manga career and cannot manage an unexpected arrival: a baby named Mirai who appears out of nowhere on Natsumi’s first night alone. The infant insists her mother is Natsumi—only fifteen years older. Mirai has traveled back through time, leaving young Natsumi responsible for raising her while preserving the routines and relationships of elementary school life. Natsumi must conceal Mirai’s true identity from others, juggling childcare with school responsibilities and relying on Izumi’s reluctant assistance plus a handful of futuristic baby-care devices to navigate the challenges.
