Synopsis

Thirteen years on from his peak with the Indiana Hornets, Gorou Honda's pitching days were cut short by a severe injury. Motivated by his father's example of persisting through adversity, Gorou resolves to resume playing baseball in a different capacity. His intense commitment to training creates tension at home, particularly with his young daughter Izumi, who feels neglected by his repeated absences. Confronted with further challenges, Gorou chooses once more to demonstrate his determination by confronting obstacles through the sport he loves.
