Synopsis

Three decades prior, the sudden emergence of extraterrestrial lifeforms nearly led to humanity's extinction. Since that time, humans and these 'Invasion Species' have been locked in a continuous struggle for habitable zones. Despite maintaining a fragile sense of security, the world remains perpetually close to collapse. Amidst the persistent danger of annihilation, people generally ignore the surrounding threats in their daily routines. In response, the United Nations established EXCEEDS, an organization dedicated to researching and combating the perils posed by the Invasion Species. The narrative commences in Mizuho, an island nation in the Far East. Here, Shiina Kuze, a young individual specializing in eradicating invasive creatures, resides on a secluded island. Her primary desire is a tranquil existence alongside her younger sister, Setsuna, her sole family member. However, an unforeseen event disrupts Shiina's ordinary life, propelling her into a much broader confrontation.
