This film blends a revisitation of the original Frontier tale with fresh narrative threads. When pop star Sheryl Nome comes to the colonial fleet to perform, she becomes entangled in internal Frontier political suspicions, accused of being an operative for Galaxy. Amid rising tensions with the Vajra, childhood friends Alto Saotome and Ranka Lee pursue their personal ambitions while the fleet’s power struggles intensify. Presented as the first installment of a two-part retelling, this entry sets up unresolved plotlines to be completed in the follow-up, The Wings of Goodbye.
