Nearly a decade after the events of Macross F, a spreading affliction called the Var Syndrome is steadily engulfing star systems across the galaxy. A fresh cohort of expert Valkyrie pilots must confront this pervasive danger while navigating the pressures of interstellar conflict. Complicating their mission, the Aerial Knights Valkyrie team from the Kingdom of Wind arrives and issues a direct challenge to Delta Squadron, adding rivalry and tension to an already urgent fight against the syndrome.
