Synopsis

In high school, Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Ootani stand out for opposite reasons: Koizumi’s height exceeds typical expectations for girls, while Ootani is notably short for a boy. Both are searching for their ideal romantic partners, but their individual crushes unexpectedly become a couple, leaving them embarrassed and disappointed. Their teacher dubs them a comedy pair because of their contrasting statures and outspoken personalities, and classmates treat their bickering like planned sketches. As they support one another through the awkwardness and heartache, Koizumi and Ootani develop a strong friendship. Beyond their exaggerated behavior, they discover surprising overlaps in taste—especially in music and clothing—which suggests a deeper connection.
