Synopsis

Momoko Sakura is a young elementary pupil with an interest in a popular singer and in comic books. Due to her age and stature she is affectionately nicknamed for being small. She shares a home in a compact town with her parents, grandparents, and an older sister. At school she spends her days studying and playing alongside a circle of classmates: her close friend Tama-chan; student council peers Maruo and Migiwa; and the B-class group made up of Hanawa, Hamaji-Bu Taro, and Sekiguchi. The series gently depicts everyday life with lighthearted moments and a focus on ordinary experiences.
