Synopsis

After a final confrontation that determined humanity's future, the Demon Lord is defeated while the hero Max survives but ultimately declines. A decade later, the Demon Lord is brought back to life, but the revival is incomplete, leaving him trapped in a child's body. Determined to reclaim his strength and settle the score, the demon seeks out Max, only to find the once-noble protector reduced to a dissolute, broken man. Choosing to live alongside his former enemy, the Demon Lord sets out to restore Max into the formidable opponent he once was. As they share a household and the demon probes the years he missed, he uncovers that Max's collapse hides deeper circumstances from which the demon was absent. The story follows their tense cohabitation and the demon's effort to rebuild both Max's resolve and the truths behind the hero's fall.
