Synopsis

A space pirate named Orbus launches an assault on Earth with the objective of seizing Planet Energy, the planet’s vital life force. He plans to simultaneously strike multiple Release Points where that energy concentrates, an assault capable of destroying the planet. During the initial attack, Takasugi Seiji flees into an ancient temple together with his girlfriend Kosaka Hikaru. There, the conscience of the Earth entrusts Seiji with Orin, a token bestowed by the leader of the planet’s guardians. Using Orin’s power, a nearby patrol car is converted into the guardian robot Da Garn, setting the stage for humanity’s defense against Orbus’s threat.
